Warts are growths of tissue in the skin caused by an infection with the human Papilloma virus (HPV). Also track herpe pairs, especially herpe VII.
Diferent types of warts:
- Common warts, which usually appear on the fingers
- Feet warts, which appear on the soles of the feet
- Genital warts, sexually transmitted disease
- Flat warts, which appear in places where you shave frequently.
In children, warts usually disappear spontaneously. In adults, they tend to stay. If they hurt or bother or if they multiply, it is possible to eliminate them. They can be removed with chemical treatments, freezing or surgery, but this does not eliminate the causative virus.
