Generalities:

DNA virus also called Human Papilloma Virus (HPV). Actually there are more than 100 varieties of this virus, some cause warts on hands and feet (low risk), others on genitals (high risk). Some affect cells predisposing to the appearance of certain types of cancer.

Diverse symptomatology: Hemorrhoids, vaginal warts if associated with Leprosy, produces fibroids, cysts appear. Observe also prostate-rectum, fallopian tube-urethra. It also produces ulcers in the womb; fish eye, on the sole of the foot.

The Human Papilloma Virus is considered one of the main detonating factors of cancer; such as cervical cancer, cancer of the penis, or throat cancer. This can happen after a long time of having the virus and has a higher incidence in women than in men, also in them the disease has greater symptoms; in man, most of the time it is asymptomatic.

It is estimated that more than 80% of the human population, sexually active, at some point in their life has contracted the virus. It can remain latent (asymptomatic) for prolonged periods, so the person can infect it inadvertently. Therefore, it is recommended to also review the sexual partner (s).

Transmission:

It is transmitted by sexual contact (genital, anal, oral). It is advised to use the condom, keep only one sexual partner. The vaccine is also a good preventive measure.
