It is called taeniasis which occurs due to the presence of its adult forms, when they are lodged in the intestine of the definitive host, and cysticercosis produced by its larval, intermediate or juvenile forms, by affecting the intermediate hosts (mainly the pig). in their tissues or internal organs. Neurocysticercosis is the infection of larvae in nerve tissues that can cause multiple disorders in humans.
