Generalities:
Symptoms: neurological: headache, dizziness, drowsiness, seizures.
The Taenia solium is the parasite that causes this disease.
Transmission:
By eating infected and uncooked meat (pork). It can also occur by eating fruits or vegetables poorly washed or contaminated by fecal matter.
Prevention: cook the meat well, follow hygiene measures.
