Generalities:
Dermatophyte fungus that infects humans. According to the infected zone it produces the following disorders:
- Ringworm in hands
- Athlete's foot "tinea pedis", pruirito del jokey or nail infection. Infected fingernails discolor, become thick, change color, and, in some cases, can crumble.
- Infection in croach (cruris)
- Also skin disorders in any area of the body (corporis)
Transmission:
It is spread by contact with contaminated objects (towels, shoes, clothes, etc.).
