Transmission:

The enterobius proliferates in the digestive tract, does not resist contact with air.The lack of hygiene is an important factor for it´s transmission. In childen there are bad habits that permit it´s contageon: eating the nails, touching the anal area and not waching the hands. In girls, it can affect the sexual organs if anus hygiene is performed towards the genital area, which is why it is more common in infants.

It is recommended to check the whole family. The parasite is very fragile but its eggs are more resistant. Kitchen utensils, sheets, clothes, as well as knobs, dampers should be washed very well, if possible using chlorine or boiling utensils whenever possible. Expose the sheets, clothes and the environment to sunlight, is an effective measure since the eggs are photosensitive.
