Generalities:
The fungus goes directly to the lung causing symptoms similar to a cold, both digestive and bladder disorders. Causing hyporexia (lack of appetite). It can spread throughout the body. Disseminated Histoplasmosis.
The fungus commonly inhabits soils, but proliferates where there is bird droppings or bats. More likely to become infected, by inlaying spores of the fungus, in places such as caves, buildings under construction or demolition.
