Generalities:

It causes a coccidiomycosis. It grows on the ground. The damage that can cause this agent depends on several factors, especially the immune system of the host. People over 60, immunosuppressed, HIV-AIDS patients, diabetes, HIV-AIDS, are more likely to become infected.

Symptoms: severe manifestation in lung (Cough with phlegm or blood), fever, swelling of joints (feet and ankles more frequently), chest pain, headache, muscle stiffness (neck), lack of appetite, alteration of character.

Transmission:

By air (inhalation of spores in certain geographical areas). It infects mammals.
