Brain stroke
Type: Multiple causes
Generalities:
Brain stroke. Mainly it can be due to two causes:
- Ischemic stroke or cerebral infarction, which consists in a considerable decrease in blood flow to a certain part of the brain.
- Hemorrhagic stroke or stroke as a result of the rupture of a blood vessel.
In both cases, the affected area of the brain depends on the location of the cerebrovascular disorder.
If the person has difficulty lifting both arms or pronouncing a sentence, this may indicate that he suffers a stroke, in which case he should seek immediate medical attention to minimize brain damage.
Causes:
The most common cause is high blood pressure, other factors such as bumps or congenital factors (anueurysm) can favor it.
