Döderlein, bacillus
Pair
anus - ascending colon
Generalities:
The Döderlein bacillus is part of the vaginal microbiota, helping to prevent microbes such as Gardnerella V. or Candida from colonizing the vaginal mucosa causing infections, which is why they are essential for maintaining vaginal homeostasis.
The fermentation processes of lactobacilli are also responsible for maintaining an acidic mucosa (pH 4) of the vagina, which helps prevent infections.
Lactobacilli are opportunistic organisms that only cause infection in people with serious underlying diseases, especially those that induce immunosuppression.
For example, patients who had serious underlying diseases or conditions that significantly depressed the immune system, and the most common were cancer, diabetes, previous infection treated with broad-spectrum antibiotics, and transplants, especially liver transplants.
Symptoms:
In case of vaginitis: Itching, inflammation, burning, pain, bad odor.
If tested using bioenergetics, it is important to ask if the infection is due to greater proliferation or shortages of lactobacillus, so we can know if it is necessary to pay more attention to other possible pathogens.
